Air Transport Forum
How to Survive in the Air Transport Sector?

TransportNET is hosting an Air Transport Forum at the University of Antwerp – Department of Transport and Regional Economics (TPR), on 13 December 2011. The aim of this forum is to address the most crucial issues in air transport at current, under the title ‘How to survive in the air transport sector?’. Specific topics dealt with by TransportNET professors and air transport business practitioners and policy makers during the seminar are:

- Critical issues in the post-crisis air transport
- Expected climate change effects on the air transport sector
- Wealth destruction and demand for air travel
- Pricing issues reconsidered: from ATC to airlines

The seminar will be concluded by a speech by Flemish Minister of Mobility and Public Works, Hilde Crevits, who will provide an update on Flanders Air Transport Network.

Seminar participants will get a participation certificate. Ample space for discussion and networking will be provided.

Full information and registration possibilities are available through the TransportNET seminar page. The course is open to all external participants, being either business practitioners, public authorities, academics or students.
