Arrival of ESP32

This week marked an important milestone for our project: after several delays and hardware issues, our new ESP32 finally arrived.

From Connectivity Issues to a Functional App

During the past few days, we focused on improving the mobile application and its communication with the system. One of the main challenges we faced was ensuring a stable transmission and reception of data between the sensors and the application itself. After several debugging sessions and connection tests, we were finally able to achieve a fully functional version of the app.

Development Challenges

During the development of our project, we encountered several hardware-related issues that significantly delayed our progress. The ESP32 boards we originally ordered did not arrive on time, and still has not arrived to this day(19th of May), which prevented us from continuing the implementation and testing phases as planned.

App Development

This week, we focused on the development and design of the ElectroCap mobile application. The goal was to create a modern and intuitive interface capable of displaying real-time indoor air quality data in a simple and visually appealing way.

Branding & Design Development

This week, we focused on the visual identity of our project. We explored different company names, logo concepts, and design styles to better represent the vision behind our system.
