Sensor BME690

We chose the Bosch BME690 instead of using multiple separate components because it is a 4-in-1 sensor capable of measuring temperature, humidity, pressure, and harmful gases (such as VOCs and carbon monoxide). We preferred this model over other common gas sensors due to its strong cost-effectiveness and low power consumption.

Choosing of the Equipment

With the support of the researchers we had the opportunity to meet and interview, combined with our own research and exploration of the topic, we selected the following sensors for our project: the Bosch BME690, the Bosch BMV080 with Shuttle Board, the Sensirion SCD41, along with 3.7V lithium cells.
