From Connectivity Issues to a Functional App

During the past few days, we focused on improving the mobile application and its communication with the system. One of the main challenges we faced was ensuring a stable transmission and reception of data between the sensors and the application itself. After several debugging sessions and connection tests, we were finally able to achieve a fully functional version of the app.

In addition, we implemented custom threshold values for each environmental parameter being monitored by the sensors, allowing the system to better evaluate indoor air conditions. To make the information easier to interpret, we also developed an air quality rating system based on points.

For example, if the temperature reaches 30°C, the system assigns 20 points, and as the temperature increases, more points are added. The higher the total score, the worse the air quality rating becomes. This logic is also applied to the remaining parameters measured by the platform, creating a more intuitive and user-friendly overview of the indoor environment.
