During the development of our project, we encountered several hardware-related issues that significantly delayed our progress. The ESP32 boards we originally ordered did not arrive on time, and still has not arrived to this day(19th of May), which prevented us from continuing the implementation and testing phases as planned.
To try to overcome this issue, we requested alternative ESP32 boards from Técnico. However, many of the boards we received either did not function correctly or presented multiple technical problems during development.
At this moment, we are already testing our seventh ESP32 board, and despite some progress, we are still experiencing stability and connectivity issues. These unexpected challenges have delayed both the development of the prototype and the integration between the sensors, cloud system, and mobile application.
Even with these difficulties, we continue working on alternative solutions and adapting our development process to keep the project moving forward.
