The SARC-RON-AI project aims to develop an AI-based system to process unstructured EHRs efficiently, automating the registry of the south region of RON, Registo Oncológico Regional Sul (ROR-Sul).
Our team from INESC-ID will colaborate with two leading oncology reference clinical and research centres, Unidade Local de Sáude Santa Maria (ULSSM) and Instituto Português de Oncologia de Lisboa Francisco Gentil (IPOLFG), with specialised sarcoma teams. Furthermore, by directly involving ROR-Sul, we will develop a solution with direct practical implications and potential scalability across health institutions in the southern region of Portugal.
