As CosmoMeter develops, it’s important to ground our work in the existing scientific literature and regulatory landscape. We’ve added a new page to our website accessible under More > Related Documents compiling the key studies, papers, and directives that inform our project.
The documents gathered there cover a range of perspectives: from peer-reviewed epidemiological research on cancer risk in aircrew, to regulatory frameworks governing the occupational health surveillance of workers exposed to ionizing radiation. Together, they paint a clear picture of why monitoring cosmic radiation exposure in aviation is not just a technical challenge, but a genuine public health concern, and one that remains insufficiently addressed.
We will continue to update this page as the project evolves and new relevant material comes to our attention. If you’re interested in the science behind what we’re building, we encourage you to take a look.
You can find all referenced documents in the Related Documents section of our website.
