This week we started redesigning and refining the website.
The original version of the site was built during the early stages of the project. It allowed us to publish updates quickly and document progress as development moved forward, but over time we felt the website no longer reflected the quality and direction of the project itself.
While the platform and structure remain the same, we decided the overall design needed a change to move away from a more hackish and experimental appearance towards something cleaner and more professional.
Another reason for the redesign is that over time we became much more familiar with the website building tools and workflow, allowing us to improve many parts of the site that we originally created with less experience.
Even though this is not a complete rebuild, it represents an important step forward in how the project is presented online. The website is evolving alongside the project itself, and this redesign is part of making the entire platform feel more complete and professional.
