Requirements List & Outreach Responses

This week, we focused on developing our solution’s requirements list, which included a theoretical analysis of each material we selected, covering functional, non-functional, technical, and user requirements to better guide our development work. On the outreach front, we received responses from some of the companies and associations we had previously contacted; unfortunately, all responses were negative, as they were already engaged with other types of projects and were unable to collaborate with us at this time.

Interviews Outreach & Project Presentation

During this week, we focused on reaching out to potential stakeholders by sending emails to several companies and associations related to our project, aiming to schedule interviews for problem and solution validation. Additionally, we had a presentation session where we demonstrated our project to other groups sharing the same advisor, which provided us with valuable feedback and insights that will help us further improve and refine our project going forward.

Website Launch & First Meeting

In March, we officially launched our project’s website and team blog, marking a significant milestone in our development journey. The site, which serves as our project’s landing page, was deployed and its address shared with our advisor as required. This week also featured a productive meeting with our advisors, who provided valuable feedback to improve our pitch deck, helping us refine our presentation and better communicate our project’s vision and goals.

Kick-start & Seminar

On February we officially kicked off the project, building upon tasks initiated last semester. Initial work began on our website development while we finalized our project proposal. Our biweekly meetings with project advisors provided valuable feedback, which was instrumental in improving the clarity and quality of the proposal. Finally, we attended our first external seminar led by Miguel Gonçalves from Magma Studio, offering fresh perspectives and inspiration for the journey ahead.
