About Me
I am a PhD student in Physics at the University of Birmingham, interested in many-body physics and quantum information. I did my Master degree at Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon). My research experience includes work with Quantum Matter team at CeFEMA, where I investigated open quantum systems out of equilibrium, as well as at the Portuguese Quantum Institute, developing quantum algorithms with Rydberg atoms.
Beyond research, I am actively engaged in teaching and outreach. I’ve served as a teaching assistant in quantum mechanics and coordinated Atlas, a national program supporting talented high school students in science. I have also organized a Summer School of Physics and an Advanced School of Physics.

Research on open quantum systems, eigenstate thermalization hypothesis and non-equilibrium dynamics. Lately I am focusing on an open SYK model using Keldysh techniques and exploring non-Markovian effects.
