My work is essentially related to the kinetic modelling of electrical discharges in atomic and molecular gases, both for pure gases and their mixtures. This includes:

• modelling the nonequilibrium kinetics in molecular plasmas;
• monte-carlo and deterministic models for gas-surface reactions.

I studied mostly the cases of Nitrogen, Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide and the mixtures N₂-O₂, N₂-Ar, O₂-A and N₂-O₂-Argon.

I am involved as well in work related to the foundations of special relativity and of thermodynamics.
