A page about what is, in reality, the simulator DomoSim.

Domotic Devices Simulator, DomoSim

The simulator is a Java application, which is able to read a XML file that specify a domotic system (containing the description of the types of devices, types of properties, the house structure, devices and services). Then, it is possible to browse all the devices in the system and select which ones are important to add in the Workspaces. To simplify this process, likely to be repeated several times, users can test various domotic scenarios and adjust their behaviour. Thus, the simulator can test various domotics systems that are quite complex and composed by a large number of devices, what is impossible to test physically. In addition, the simulator is a great tool for users to see what is the best organization of the devices in the system to meet their preferences and ideas, through the use of domotic scenarios.
