Scientific interests focused on the intersection of functional nanomaterials and polymers, and their interaction with light
- Nanostructured materials: metallic, semiconductor, silica and hybrid .
- Polymers and Colloids: emulsion and controlled radical polymerization; smart polymers.
- Static and dynamic fluorescence, static and dynamic light scattering, and laser scanning microscopy.
Development of light emitting materials for imaging and diagnostics, multifunctional nanosystems for controlled delivery/capture, optical sensors, high performance polymer coatings, structural color materials, etc.
