FIELD TEST
Field testing at Técnico to evaluate the camera’s smoke and fire detection capabilities
On June 1st, our team conducted practical field tests at the Técnico barbecue area to evaluate the camera’s performance in detecting smoke and fire in a real-world environment.
During these tests, we successfully verified the system’s detection capabilities under realistic conditions. We also took the opportunity to capture high-quality photos and video footage, which will be integrated into our final project video presentation.
By the end of the session, the team gathered valuable experimental data and collected the necessary media assets to enhance our promotional materials.
Next Steps
- Analyze the data collected during the camera tests;
- Sort and edit the new photos and video footage;
- Integrate the captured media into the project video;
- Refine the detection algorithm based on the field test results.
