ElectroCap Seminar with Joana Coutinho Sousa
On April 22nd, all the ElectroCap groups attended the fourth seminar of the program, titled “From Dinosaurs to a New Intelligent Species”.
The session featured Joana Coutinho Sousa, Innovation and AI Manager at NOS Inovação. With a background combining a PhD in Neuroscience and strategic leadership in generative AI, she shared insights on how artificial intelligence is transforming the telecommunications industry and enabling large-scale innovation.
During the seminar, she explored the technological evolution of the sector and discussed how AI-driven solutions are shaping new disruptive applications. The session also provided valuable perspectives on how these advancements can be applied to ongoing student projects.
