On March 25th, all the ElectroCap groups attended the third seminar of the program, titled “Computer Vision and IoT Sensors: The Technologies Behind the Sensei Experience”.

During the session, Nuno Moutinho, Chief Technology Officer at Sensei, and Paulo Carreira, Chief Scientific Officer at the company, presented how Sensei combines computer vision and IoT sensors to develop smart checkout solutions. They also explained how this technology is used in autonomous stores, including the largest autonomous store in the world, recently opened in Leiria, and discussed the technological challenges behind these systems.
