MEETING
Group Meeting with our advisor and co-advisor
On Janurary 26th, our team met with our Advisor, Prof. Ayman, and our Co-advisor, Mariana. The main goal of this session was to receive and discuss the highly anticipated feedback on our initial presentation (the PowerPoint we submitted on December 9, 2025).
It was a truly eye-opening meeting. If there were any doubts about the scale of our project, we left with absolute certainty: we still have a long (and challenging) road ahead of us!
Next Steps:
- Approaching Reality (Fieldwork): We will get in touch with Civil Protection entities. It is essential to have a real study sample, validate our premises with those on the ground, and understand the practical challenges these professionals face daily;
- Deep Dive into Hardware: We need to immerse ourselves in the technology that will support our system. The upcoming weeks will be dedicated to intensive research on sensor specifications and camera capabilities;
