MEETING
Group Meeting with our advisor and co-advisor
On March 24th, our team met with our advisor and co advisor to discuss the current state of the project and clarify several important aspects related to requirements, hardware, and budget.
During the meeting, we went through the requirements list, making sure everything was clearly defined and aligned with the project goals. A large part of the discussion focused on the hardware, especially the different types of sensors that could be implemented. We analyzed which sensors would be the most suitable for our system and discussed the importance of choosing the best cost-benefit solution.
We also talked about the project budget and informed the professor about Ciclop, as we had a meeting scheduled with the company the following day. One of the main questions was understanding what equipment we would need to buy and what could possibly be loaned by the company, since this would have a direct impact on our budget planning.
By the end of the meeting, we moved closer to the final decision regarding the materials and reinforced the need to carefully control the budget. The professor also emphasized that in future presentations we should show something live, not just theoretical ideas, meaning we should start focusing on a small working prototype or demonstration.
Next Steps:
- Finalize the requirements list;
- Decide which sensors and hardware components will be used;
- Clarify with Ciclop what equipment will be provided or loaned;
- Adjust and control the project budget;
- Start working on a small live prototype to demonstrate the system.
