On 13 March 2026, we held a meeting with Mota-Engil to examine the issue of thermal stress and physically demanding working conditions. During this meeting, the existence of the problem and the need for an effective solution were confirmed, particularly due to the lack of existing methods capable of adequately addressing it.
We also received valuable feedback regarding the most appropriate way to issue alerts. In operational and maintenance environments, there is often a high level of noise, meaning that an audible warning alone may not be sufficient. It was also indicated that there may be an opportunity to test our prototype in one of the company’s operational settings; however, this possibility remains subject to confirmation by the company’s Human Resources department.
