Big milestone this week \u2014 we assembled all the mechanical components and ran our first full test<\/strong> of the solar tracking platform!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tilting mechanism<\/strong> is working flawlessly. We also added end-of-course switches<\/strong> to the linear actuator to ensure it stops safely at its limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rotation mechanism<\/strong> is operational too! It successfully moves the structure, although we noticed the motor is struggling a bit with the weight. We’re considering testing a stronger stepper motor<\/strong> to improve performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We took the system outside for testing<\/strong>, and it was amazing to finally see the whole structure moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
