The goal was to understand the challenges they face with their current system and assess whether our solution could provide real benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the conversation, the interviewee mentioned that, despite having a solar panel, they don\u2019t have a clear idea of how much energy it generates. The system allows for small power consumption throughout the day, but it\u2019s not enough to support intensive use. For example, if they need to charge a laptop, they often have to turn on the vehicle\u2019s engine to recharge the batteries. In many cases, they also <strong>need to stay overnight at campsites just to charge their batteries, which can cost up to \u20ac30 per night<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we presented our idea of a solar panel that automatically adjusts to the sun\u2019s position to maximize energy capture, the reaction was very positive. Energy efficiency is a key factor for motorhome users since <strong>freedom and autonomy<\/strong> are top priorities. Any solution that enhances solar system efficiency is seen as a major advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The interviewee estimated that, for those who live full-time in their motorhome, the investment in such a system could <strong>pay for itself in less than a year<\/strong>. Considering an average campsite fee of <strong>\u20ac30 per night<\/strong>, a system priced at <strong>\u20ac2,500<\/strong> would recover its cost in approximately <strong>83 nights<\/strong>. This means that <strong>in less than three months of daily use, the investment would be fully covered<\/strong>. Even for occasional travelers, the savings over time make the system a compelling option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding costs, they indicated that a price range between <strong>\u20ac2,000 and \u20ac3,000<\/strong> would be reasonable, as long as the system significantly improves energy capture. However, they pointed out an important factor: <strong>the weight of the system<\/strong>. In motorhomes, every extra kilogram matters, so ensuring that the adjustable solar panel structure is lightweight and efficient would be essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This interview confirmed that our solution addresses a real need and that there is market interest, especially among those seeking greater energy independence in their travels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To validate our solution for an adjustable solar panel, we interviewed a motorhome owner who has a fixed solar panel installed.
