Application Construction

• The Galinha project, a system for integrating multiple tools and a portal and server for interacting with outside entities, some of which may even be human.

Lexical Resources Development

• The Language Resources Database is a repository that allows language resources to be integrated and managed.

Automatic Natural Language Generation

• Language generation activities:
  • a simple Weather Reporter example (in Portuguese) is available
• work on the syntax inversion
• work on language resources for language generation in Portuguese

Discourse Processing

• Automatic summarization activities: these are in the context of Ricardo Daniel Ribeiro's PhD project.

Grid Computing

• Computational grids for natural language engineering (ongoing project).
