Exploring Embedded Systems with Nuno Ferreira

We are thrilled to welcome Nuno Ferreira, a former LEEC and MEEC student, to share his expertise on software development for embedded systems.

During his Master's thesis, Nuno worked with IoT technologies to estimate room occupancy without violating privacy rules. He also co-authored the IoT system for iStartLab, creating training videos and seminars. Today, he is part of Genoa Spark, a startup focused on IoT solutions for various applications.

In this session, Nuno will introduce embedded software development using the ESP32 microcontroller. Some development boards will be available for hands-on experimentation.
