I'm a first-year PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Lisbon.
My research is focused on techniques for satellite-based transmission geolocation through opportunistic signal detection.
I'm also a member of the ISTSat-1 team, and I'm interested in everything about amateur satellites.
ISTSat-1 is a 1U cubesat carrying an ADS-B decoder payload. It was developed by students of Instituto Superior Técnico and was part of ESA's Fly Your Satellite! programme. It was launched on the maiden flight of Ariane 6.
Contributed to the onboard software, satellite integration and testing, and operations.
Argus-1 and Argus-2 are a pair of satellites developed in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University for in-orbit validation of attitude determination and control algorithms based on visual landmark recognition.
Contributing to the development of the radio subsystem and experimental telecommunications payloads.
