With our new direction locked in, we compiled a comprehensive list of technical and functional requirements. We pushed forward with user research, interviewing a retail company stakeholder. They shared a fascinating corporate perspective: before COVID-19, people in the retail sector barely had a concept of burnout or workplace stress. While the company was trying to prepare for these challenges, we discovered their current mental health frameworks were not very solid—proving there is a massive gap our solution can fill. We also interviewed LAPSO again, discovered the E.Awards@Técnico 25/26 competition, and had a mentorship session with a former PIC student who showed us how to combine AI training with traditional statistical approaches for more robust data analysis.
