At the start of the week, we successfully deployed the first live version of our website. Deeper research into industry regulations revealed complex legal hurdles and bureaucratic red tape, so we shifted the prespective of our solution from a standalone “Medical Device” to a MobileApp and “Wellness Device” combo, meaning we stopped delivering a full diagnosis and started commenting objective observations on data. On the validation front, we conducted an eye-opening interview with our mentor, Marco, who is also a student living in a high-pressure environment. He revealed that if biometric data were to be collected, he would want clear, actionable feedback on it, ideally delivered through gamification. To wrap up the week, we updated our presentation pitch deck, integrated Marco’s feedback, and visited the LAPSO research labs to explore how sensors and gamified experiences can accurately trace psychological phenomena.
