We kicked off our project by redefining team roles, mapping out our initial system architecture, and diving straight into website development. Mid-week, we attended our first seminar focused on how to attract and engage project stakeholders. During the session, a professor recommended the book The Mom Test, giving us a powerful methodology for conducting unbiased user interviews. We immediately put our ideas to the test and received our first major reality check: some tough, constructive feedback from industry leader Miguel Gonçalves regarding the market applicability of our original concept.
