Week 10

Kicking Off the EletroCap Workshops and Prototype Development

This week marks the beginning of the EletroCap Workshops, and each member of our team has enrolled in different areas that align closely with the needs of our project, such as WebApp Development and ESP32 workshops.

What we learned in the WebApp Workshop:

- RENDER - Free website to deploy the WebApp backend.
- Google Firebase - Google cloud-hosted database: simple and very effective.

What we learned in the ESP32 Workshop:

- Arduino IDE - Development environment used to program the ESP32.

With this, we’re making steady progress on the two key fronts: the development of our prototype and the improvement of our web app. Our goal is to move as quickly as possible into the testing phase, and that means refining both the hardware and the software that supports it.

Additionally, we’re working on an algorithm capable of detecting potential cardiac issues in real time, intending to trigger alerts and warnings by analyzing the user vital signs data.
