The proposed solution is a wearable biometric monitoring device, designed to capture, analyse and transmit real-time physiological data. The system will incorporate multiple integrated sensors to enable comprehensive biological and physiological data analysis. Additionally, a communication system will transmit the collected data for analysis, determining whether there are any elevated health risks or not.

This device is designed to make high intensity and high risk professions safer, identifying early signs of physical and mental exhaustion so that the protential risks are reduced. It is designed primarily to Emergency Responders, such as firefighters or paramedics, as well as Military Personnel, on duty or undergoing high intensity trainings, although it can be beneficial for any profession operating in high risk enrionments.

Real-Time Biometric Monitoring for Miltary and Emergency Responders
Personal Device - Sports T-Shirt
This sector is a compact decvide which is responsible of gathering the user vital signs and posture, and sending them to the data receiver.
It is composed of a ESP32 T-Beam with built-in GPS, LoRa and BLE, a sports chest band, a gyroscope and accelerometer sensor, a temperature sensor, a 3.7V battery and an acrylic casing. This module is placed in a back pocket of a sports shirt.
We successfuly designed it to be very compact and small sized, so it can be worn without interfering the user's performance.
LoRa Close Range Data Receiver
This sector is responsible of receiving the data from the personal module and sending it to the web application.
It is composed of a ESP32 T-Beam with built-in Wi-Fi, a 3.7V battery and a 3D printed casing, and it needs to be connected to Wi-Fi.
This module is placed in nearby center base or car, where it can receive the data from the personal module via LoRa and then send the data via Wi-Fi for the database. With the right antenna and gain, it can receive data from very long ranges.
User Data Monitoring and Analysis
This sector is responsible of monitoring and analysing the user data in real-time.
It is composed of a web application (using Vite and Render), which is connected to a Firestore cloud-hosted database. The web application is responsible of displaying the user data in real-time, and it can also send warnings and alarms to the team responsible if any abnormality is detected.
It displays the user heart rate, temperature, position, GPS localization and velocity. To analyse the user data, it uses a simple algorithm that detects any abnormal values and sends warnings or alarms, depending on the severity of the situation.
