Interviews, partners, database and android studio. This week (from the 28th of february to the 6th of march) our team focused on the following tasks:
-Interviewing potencial users of our product as an effort to get different points of view relative to various themes.
-Contact gyms to not only get the point of view of owners but also to partner with them.
-Setting up a data base using Google’s Firebase.
-Learning to use android studio, creating an app and connecting it to Firebase.
Starting off with the interviews, these gave us a great understanding of not only what the users would like to see when it comes to our product but also who we would be our target audience. Furthermore the interviews were reassuring in the sense we now know our idea and our project is wanted by the users and not just by us.
Contacting gyms on the other hand proved to be more difficult, although we weren’t as successful we got one positive response from trainers at Eduardo Silvestre’s gym and were given a greenlight to test our product on their machines.
We sought out to set up a database and did so using Google’s Firebase. The database is set up and connected to the android app but we’re still figuring out how to manage and use it.
Our final compromise of this week was getting started on the app started using android studio. We did so and are currently beginning to create a “log in” and “hub” page for the app.
Additionally we got ChatGPT’s DALL-E to create a logo for our project, that we’re very content with.
And that’s all folks!
