Data analysis, APP UI development, Google Forms, database structure.
This week we sent out our new Google Forms as a way to get more answers to validate our product. We took this oportunity to organize all the data we gathered not only from the Forms but also from the in person interviews. This information will soon be published on the website along with it’s own blog post. We have also done a competitors analysis to further comprehend other products and services available in the market and how SGECK distinguishes itself from the others, the excel with that information will also be promptly posted on the website.
Moving along to the software team, this week we worked on the development of the APP’s UI. The app has been devided in 4 fragments(main sections) being: “Statistics”, “Exercises”, “Workouts” and “Settings”. On the settings page two functionalities were added, log out and account deletion. The stats page is still blank however, the workouts tab is the most developed one. We added a list of hardcoded popular exercises and a functional search bar, we also integrated a way for the user to expand their collection by adding custom exercises, although they are not yet being registered on the Firebase Database.
When it comes to the database we’ve already structured it and it’s ready to be implemented, this will make the last point fully operable.
Lastly from the hardware point of view, the arduino we received was faulty and could not be tested with, either way a script has already been written for the data aquisition.
On the website we updated the logo and published our original proposal but that will soon be updated.
And that’s everything for this week!
