Meeting with our Coordinator
In the week of 4 to 10 of march, the team gathered with their coordinator, professor João Fernandes, to discuss various questions related to the technical and economic study of our solar blinds, more specifically, the power production of said blinds throughout the year and their monetary profit versus normal blinds.
We also discussed the various methods of determining the optimal angle for the blinds, such as the implementation of photosensors that determine the angle that maximizes solar radiation, or the developing of software that automatically determines the optimal position of the blinds through the use of already existing API`s.
For the next few weeks we expect to obtain the equipment necessary to start building our first prototype and to make some advancements in the development of the analytic model and the technical and economic study. When we do, expect an update right here in our blog.
