Our first setback
This monday, 25 of march, we received an email informing us on the model of the arduino we would be getting to develop our project. This should come as great news, if not for the fact that the project that the prototype team has been basing their work of doesnt support this version of the arduino.
The team was then faced with two choises that would greatly impact the progress of the prototype, keeping this new arduino and developing our own software similar to the one we were already using, or asking for another arduino with the specific version we wanted. We collectively decided that we would keep the new arduino, and are now faced with the new challenge of developing our own software to operate the solar blinds.
It should come as no surprise that we are now behind schedule, so the next few weeks will become essential to put us back on track. We will update this blog again when we make some progress on the prototype, but for now we will work hard so that we can meet our deadlines.
