aesthetics, aiming for a better user experience.
Progress Update - 12th May - 18th May
In Part A, we continued the implementation of the
transaction and battery management algorithm. We also
finalized the User Interface. In Part C, we designed the
electrical schematic for the mock-up. Lastly, in Part D, we
commenced the development of the project demonstration
video.
Progress Update - 05th May - 11th May
This week, in Part A we made progress on implementing the
transaction and battery management algorithm and adjusted
the User Interface. In Part C, we completed the Arduino
programming, although further adjustments might be needed
after finalizing Part A. We will continue testing and
refining the algorithm, improving the User Interface, and
adjusting the Arduino programming as necessary to ensure
seamless integration of all components.
Progress Update - 28th Apr. - 04th May
This week, in Part A, we developed technical documentation
for implementing the Machine Learning model for forecasting
energy consumption and price. Additionally, we continued
implementing the transaction and battery management
algorithm. The implementation of the user interface was also
continued. In Part C, we continued the work from last week.
Progress Update - 21th Apr. - 27th Apr.
This week in Part A, we developed technical documentation
for the statistical analysis of variables. Additionally, we
began implementing the transaction and battery management
algorithm. The creation and configuration of the user
interface were also started. In Part C, the focus during
these two weeks was primarily on Arduino simulations.
Progress Update - 14th Apr. - 20th Apr.
This week, in Part A, was made the integration of the three
predictive Machine Learning models (consumption, production
and price). In Part C, we continued the work from last week.
Progress Update - 07th Apr. - 13th Apr.
This week, in Part C, we worked on size adjustments to the
previously identified 3D models. We also finalized our
digital model of the 3D prototype and compiled the final
list of materials required for its realization.
Progress Update - 31th Mar. - 06th Apr.
During the next two weeks, in Part A, our attention will be
focused on preparing for exams. A general group meeting was
held to better define the next steps and organization. In
Part B, we wrote documentation related to the implementation
of blockchain transactions.
Progress Update - 24th Mar. - 30th Mar.
This week, we prepared the pitch deck for the mid-term
evaluation and made adjustments to the machine learning
models in Part A and 3D modeling of the prototype in Part C.
Progress Update - 17th Mar. - 23th Mar.
Continuing from last week, our focus remains on refining
load profiles and acquiring data for machine learning and
statistical analysis. We're improving base load profiles'
accuracy and specificity while gathering necessary data for
each profile. Additionally, we're advancing the
normalization and scaling of load profiles to mirror the
national context, considering variables like EV quantity and
installed charging power.
Progress Update - 10th Mar. - 16th Mar.
This week, we're dedicated to enhancing our understanding of
load profiles through machine learning and statistical
analysis. We're refining base load profiles and gathering
essential data for comprehensive modeling and analysis.
Progress Update - 3rd Mar. - 9th Mar.
This week, we continued our work from last week on the
development of the energy market model. We progressed with
data acquisition and initial analysis for machine learning
model development, while also starting discussions on
integrating these outcomes into our project. Additionally,
we began developing the energy market model, focusing on
market dynamics and pricing data. Furthermore, in Part B, we
concluded the study on how blockchain chains and smart
contracts function, as well as the research on the legal
conditions our project could face in the future.
