About

I am a researcher at INESC-ID and the Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. My research focuses on confidential computing, persistent memory systems, and transactional execution.

Research Interests

Confidential Computing

Security mechanisms for protecting data in use, particularly Confidential Virtual Machines (CVMs) and trusted execution environments for AI systems.

Persistent Memory Systems

Programming models and transaction systems for non-volatile memory, focusing on performance and durability guarantees.

Processing-In-Memory

Novel architectures that move computation closer to data, particularly for transactional workloads and high-throughput data processing.

Projects

ACHILLES

Privacy AI Security

Part of the INESC-ID collaboration on redefining AI security through Privacy Enhancement Technologies, with focus on Confidential Virtual Machines.
