So you want to learn magic or have already been learning but want to improve even further?

Magic is a great hobby or profession. You will also go through a lot of personal growth when learning magic and find use for many of the things you learn in your daily-life.
Magicians are performers therefore they interact with people. Besides learning many “secrets” you will also learn how to talk, connect, manage an audience. It will improve your social and work skills.
If you only want to learn a few “tricks” for social purposes this is also a great place to help you start. Our goal is to make learning magic an easier and more interesting experience.
Nowadays there are so many options out there. You have hundreds of videos, books and a great deal of content on Youtube. This is very beneficial but also dangerous as there are a lot of good but also bad thing. We will try to help you find what is good, what is not and how to make the most out of it.
If you start learning there are just two simple choices you have to make(keep in mind you are not restrained to a single option in each topic):
-What you want to learn
There are cards, coins, doves, silks, ropes, cigars, cupps and balls, pens, magic that only uses the mind… There is magic using almost anything you can think of. Think a little bit about what you like the most, what fits your daily life and ambitions. A deck of cards is cheap, versatile and there are endless options to learn from. If you don’t know, it’s fine! There is no wrong choice, you can always learn several things or get a “complete course on magic” like the one taught in the Tarbell books. We suggest cards or coins if you don’t have any idea and want a cheap hobby and to learn a lot of material to perform in many different situations.
-Where you want to learn
There are books, DVD’s/Downloads and Youtube. Books and DVD’s/Downloads are usually bought from magic retailers while youtube is free. Head over to the Where to learn section where we explain the benefits of each method. In the end, you will always get a combination of all the options.
