Form Volume, areas of a conical frustum Frust (Tronco de cone)
Cone: common solid (one "nappe", not double); right circular cone; with paralell, horizontal base and top (supposing the axis of rotation vertical). The frustum leads to the cone as a particular case.
The volume (only) for a pyramidal frustum can be obtained through corresponding diameters leading to the top and bottom areas of the frustum. Use h or, for a regular pyramid, s along a lateral edge.
D Yes No Diameters. At least one must be given.
(D > | = | < d)
·
d Yes No
 All the variables, except α:   ≥= 0
s Yes No slant height (side)
h Yes No height
α Yes No (degrees) angle with vertical
Among the five variables, exactly three must be given. If given, s and α must be coherent.
