This week we presented our 'ElectroCap Mid-Program Pitch Deck' and analyzed some responses we received from farmers.

The majority of farmers surveyed (81.2%) expressed that they currently do not employ a smart irrigation system. The primary deterrents cited were the perceived high costs and limited availability within the market. However, respondents indicated a willingness to adopt such technology under certain conditions: if it demonstrated water-saving capabilities, outperformed their current irrigation methods in efficiency, operated autonomously, and could be tailored to suit varying soil and crop types.

Encouragingly, a significant portion of farmers (75%) expressed a positive inclination towards considering our proposal. Among those who expressed reluctance, reasons included the scale of their fields, where the perceived benefits might not outweigh the investment, or because they were satisfied with their existing systems and saw no immediate need for change.
