The Ana Marques´s group paper entitled "Hybrid custom-tailored sol-gel derived microscaffold for biocides immobilization" was released in Microporous and Mesoporous Materials, in 2018, and reports on the development of silica-epoxy matrices, in the form of functional spherical microscaffolds with controlled morphology, comprising an immobilized biocide, for antifouling purposes.
